Look! I'm going to lay down some truth, if you want the best chicken burger in Adelaide stop by burgastronomy.

Visited Burgastronomy without a firm idea of what I was in for.

Hmmm well I thought I'd try this place on my lunch breakThe portabello mushroom burger was not really what I was expecting it to be like.

All the makings of a 10/10 burger are here. There are just a few elements that need tweaking. The brioche bun was dry and flat which is easy to fix. The patties are good. The pickles are good. The sauce was unfortunately non-existant I'm not exactly sure why this is the case but ketchup and mustard are a must for any burger. Tl:dr: above average burger elements, average execution.

Nothing wrong with this place but nothing outstanding either. I ordered the double cheese burger which was nicely cooked if a little greasy. Another person had a chicken burger. The food was served freshly cooked and super hot. But the beef patty lacked the depth of flavour of a really outstanding burger. Service was good and the staff were polite, no comfy chairs to sit on just hard stalls.
