Bidrage med feedbackWho needs subway?. I was kind of sceptical at first. I thought it was average and overpriced, but I was wrong. the sandwiches are very good and cheap. there are tons of subs to choose and the prices do not vary depending on the sandwich only the size. I got a shrimp puzzle the last time I left and it wasn't very good, but I think that was my fault for ordering a shrimp sandwich. I was also very happy. I would not call this place my favorite sandwich place, but I would call it my favorite sandwich on campus corner. what wich hits every day definitiw subway.
For 6 bucks, I will NOT make my own sandwich. It somehow difficult to come up with the right combination of ingredients that will make a good sandwich at Which Wich. I've tried 4 times and finally managed to make one. That's about 3 times too many. I am not sure if this is because they do not get my specified ingredients on my sandwich in the right quantities or its just me being a bad sandwich builder I do just fine at home though. I'd rather let the folks behind the counter do the sandwich for me, like Subway, so I at least get to see how my sandwich is being made. So for 6 bucks, its not worth it although even if your sandwich does not taste like you intended, it's at least fresh.
Which Wich the Inferior Sandwich. They have a nice variety of flavors, but the sandwiches are in meager portions. It would make a filling but pricey $6 7) snack... just not meal worthy though. I would have to consume two, and my husband would need three just to feel satisfied... and we're not even big people. :
Things change.. I used to eat here religiously. (I've gotten over 12 free sandwiches from the little punch out cards) Of course I eventually stopped eating there for a while. When I came back after a year I was slapped in the face with wonder and disappointment. Wonder in how much money I have spent there, and disappointment in realizing that their already small medium sized sandwiches were even smaller and less plump than they were before. Also, the bread seemed to be a bit over toasted than what was usual. It was a sad day. 16 Aug, 2009 Fun, Large Menus, Delicious. Never fills me up, but the combinations are endless and the sandwiches are delicious!
I love a sandwich place that offers many options, and on this count that certainly provides. they can build exactly what they want and they have some great options. but they are slllooowwwww. sandwiches take forever, and from no obvious reason, and if they are with 2 or 3 people, it could take 10-15 minutes from the first served, even if they ordered together. a terrible model when they have children. Also...Parking on campus corner is always tricky. they have two spots reserved behind the load, but they have destroyed the back door. which may not be ok for a marked exit in a public building.
