Max & Ermas - Norfolk

We're at the hotel this week for a meeting. While I didn't have the opportunity to eat in the restaurant, the food we ordered was delicious. The servers and hostesses were also very friendly and helpful, especially when it comes to a larger than usual number of orders at once. I would like to have the opportunity to actually eat in the restaurant if I ever get the chance.

Great times at Max Erma! The service was great and also the food. My Cod BLT was pretty delicious. My drink was okay. The waitress was excellent! And thanks to the manager to show so much love! I had a great night. This used to be a favorite in college when it was in MacArthur Mall. Bring the chicken parmigiana back!!

Not great. I was in DoubleTree during my business trip, so it was only convenient to eat there every night. The reuben wasn't good at all. Crispy fish tacos were fine. The best reason to go is the $5 Cheeseburger on Thursday. The best burger I've had for a long time!

My husband and I are here tonight. I love her tortilla soup. Today I tried her summer berry salad and it was delicious. Our server was friendly and attentive. I wish the Virginia Beach Blvd location had not closed because it is attached to a hotel (it is crowded with people from the hotel). I'd definitely come back.

We both had variations of the turkey burger. It was excellent. Our server was quick to take our order, and quick to drop the things we ASKED for back at the table. But, it was extremely difficult to catch her attention if we needed anything else before she left... The endless fries were a definite plus. The beverages were refilled upon request...being that they were iced tea and water I was unimpressed. All in all I would say it was a fair meal. At a fair price.
