Altstadt - Nordrhein-Westfalen

I haven’t eaten delicious steak anywhere like here. Beer was so good.

Great service and good food. On the main road in the old town. Why do I have to write 100’word, I can say everything in less. That's a stupid state.

Very nice cozy ambience with outdoor area and excellent food. the restaurant is always well visited so you should definitely book!

For the first time the restaurant existed longer. We chose the table after the table and were with the Popeye carving or the pork medal with asparagus. The parts were clear; an appetizer would have been better, but would have collided with the time aspect. The service was friendly and the prices were reasonable.

The six of us were only in Düsseldorf for one night; we needed to eat and had heard of the Altstadt as being a good traditional German restaurant and it is. We hadn't booked; it took an age to find it after leaving the U-Bahn station and the restaurant was busy but a table was secured inside and the service from the English speaking local was first class. The beer was good; the food was better! Two drinks and a main course cost around €25 and it was well worth it. I cheekily asked for a discount for cash but unsurprisingly didn't get one but a nice surprise was a complimentary glass of schnapps to round off an excellent evening.
