Slam Dunk Norco

WATERY SHOTS LIKE WATERRRYY i went here to give my brother a drink for his 21st! Good times. However it was very dead on a Saturday. Also there was nothing!! Nothing cool for birthdays!!! which at a bar i mean i get it make your money but also introduce this dude into his new stage of adulthood with a complimentary drink. (ANYONE TRYNA GET A FREE DRINK FOR YOUR B DAY AT A COOL BAR HEAD TO UPLAND OR POMONA. BETTER ATMOSPHERE) but one thing that upset me a lot man. Was that.. I put no tip! and this lady had the nerve to tell me to fill it out and add a tip or she would add one herself!!? I mean she poured some drinks. But what like 2? Over some ice? Gave us looks, and was very uninviting. I dunno if its bc we looked younger. First timers? Or bc were not Caucasian. Anyways. Last time commin' here. Better places to spend your money, also its a Norco bar so. They got them yehaw vibes too. (Some weird Jim crow type stuff was on the screen for a second) Old red-haired bartender lady was mean but the young cute bartender lady was fairly nice and welcoming.

I have always had a great time at Slam Dunk. I like that they have Golden Tee and I come in even when it's slow to play a couple of games when I'm in the neighborhood. I absolutely love Deena and she always makes me feel so welcome and I'll continue to visit as long as I know she's working. Mark also adds to the fun atmosphere. I had one bad experience with a bartender on a Tuesday night, but the owner was quick to address the problem. With that said, I changed my review to 5 stars assuming the one bad experience was an anomaly.

Fun dive bar with lots of dart boards!! The drinks are cheap and you can order from the little Italian spot next door if you get hungry.

Not veteran friendly. Do not recommend for veterans. Was made to take off our military apparel to enter establishments. Came down from the Central Valley to enjoy time with other vets and family. Was utterly **** down by this experience.
