Nice flavours and plenty of Veg choices. Not too hot either. Naan bread was nice and home made. Good raita too.....will be back!

We visited for a meal one evening for a break from the hostel. The service was very quick and friendly. Plenty of choice on the menu and the food was very nice. We ordered a curry each and shared a large rice and naan. This...was enough for the two of us and was reasonably priced. We were also given a jug of tap water. This is also a BYO restaurant. We enjoyed our meal and would urge backpackers to visit as it was a good price and not far from the main hostels.

I don’t normally go out of my way to write negative reviews, but I was so underwhelmed by this restaurant. I love Indian food because it’s so reliable, however the lahori chicken and peshawari naan I had tonight were so tasteless. The curry was boring...and definitely not the medium I ordered, and the naan had no fruit, just a very small amount of coconut and some caraway seeds.

I don't like leaving negative reviews for restaurants but on this ocassion I feel I have to. We're staying at a nearby hotel and were looking forward to a takeaway curry after a long and busy day. We ordered online and husband went to pick...up. On his return we realised that none of the food was what we had ordered so back he went. When returning the food he was quizzed as to why it looked so messy (as if we had eaten it and wanted more He replied that we had obviously tasted a bit of each before we realised the dishes were not what we had ordered and the staff member commented that it now couldn't be re-used. I do hope they were joking...Anyway, back he comes with the meals and they were pretty mediocre in the end. The chicken in the tikka masala was ok but the sauce really was not great. Worst of all for me was the garlic naan. The bread itself was very nicely cooked but I wish I had ordered plain as the garlic was just horrible really overpowering and slightly acidic. Perhaps not fresh, I don't know but not nice to eat. The rice was nice though. All in all a very unsatisfying experience and so disppointing when I was really hungry and looking forward to a good feed.
