Riesling Nordlingen

I was with a group of 40 people and we had the BBQ experience! Really good! and the host and waiters are really nice.

Wow! what a pleasant surprise and a hidden gem just off the beaten track in the altstadt of Nördlingen. The 4 course pairing menu - each course was a surprise - was expertly paired with a variety of regional and European wines. An absolute pleasure of an evening. The very personable waitress (Bettina) coild speak German (naturally), English, Afrikaans (wow)! and a smattering of Hungarian.

The menu is not very varied, but the dishes are excellent! The taste of the wild mushrooms was out of this world and the steak exquisite.

Have been there twice during my stay in Nordingen. Had two different dishes each time and both time, the food is great.

I visited this restaurant and had some of the best food I had eaten in a long time. The wine pairing that was proposed was also very well done and I most probably had the best dessert that I have ever had when I ordered the Crème Brule.Definitely will be back for more.
