Bidrage med feedbackFantastic location, with a beautiful view and a spectacular sunset. The show is very nice, very good performances and you will have a good time. However the food as quite disappointing.
Cousin Mya our guide was worth the trip, oh and the view....WOW.
My wife and I had a blast at this luau! We bought vip tickets on groupon 6 weeks previous for a great price and called to confirm our res at that time. Our shuttle picked us up right at our hotel (lucky I guess) our shuttle driver Jen was very Informative and friendly. We arrived to the property to drums beating in the background and were greeted with flower leis as we stepped off the shuttle. The leis were the exact color that my wife and I were already wearing from our earlier wedding that day so out of kindness they asked us if we would prefer the shell type of lai instead. While walking to the home on the property we were offered a mai tai, 1 deep fried shrimp, and a shot of pumpkin soup. We gathered in front of the home for further luau instructions and a brief story (which may or may not be true... Who knows) of the celebrities who visited the property in the 50's. After the schpeal we quickly walked through the home then down to the tent area where there are some tables and a bar. We were given 5 drink tickets but the tickets are only good for beer or 3 other kinds of mixed drinks. If you wanted a drink that was not on the list you had to pay cash. Enjoying the experience, my wife and I opted to get the drink in a pineapple which were $22 a piece. The bartenders were awesome though! Since we got married that day, they refused to take our drink tickets and kept refilling our pineapples! Lol! Near the tent area was the tattoo station (temporary), lai making station, and ukulele lesson station. After a half hour or so in the tent area they brought out the kalua pig and chopped up some meat for everyone to try. They said to form 4 lines but you know people just don't listen! Ha! Soon after we all were invited into the dinning room for our buffet dinner and the show! We were seated 3 tables back from the stage which offered a pretty good view however, the front and center table which seats 10 was taken by a D list celebrity and his 2 guests. I felt that our seats would have been closer if he was not there or if he was cool enough to not take an entire table to himself.... But no. Thanks T pain. Anyway, the buffet food was just ok but the show was fantastic! The show is a must see and perfect for after dinner entertainment. I would recommend this Luau to anyone who visits Oahu and I would definitely attend this Luau again.
