Bidrage med feedbackTo be honest, this was not our first choice, but I am glad we came. Service was amazing from the moment we booked a table very efficient, friendly, and welcoming. I had the duck, hubby had the venison, we shared a bottle of wine and a bottle of sparkling water. We also got a dessert each. Proteins were cooked and seasoned very well: The duck breast was nice and pink, the fat was nicely rendered, and the skin crispy. The venison was so tender you can cut it with a butter knife nicely browned on the outside but still pink, tender, and juicy on the inside. Knoedels were nice and suprisingly not too stodgy. The braised cabbage was tart and sweet and complemented the duck well. The wild mushrooms were earthy and worked so well with the venison. Desserts were also tasty not too sweet and a nice way to round off dinner. Wine that was recommended by the super nice and sweet server was also spot on. All in all, we had a very lovely evening for not a ton of money. Very good value (especially when compared to many cities in my home country of Canada). Would gladly return in the future.
Good food, excellent wine, good value, squeezed us in with no notice would happily eat here again.
Perfect everything, location in the vineyard garden, good German cuisine, perfect wines very nice service.
For example, the restaurant in the centre offers an excellent fillet steak. Of course there are also local specialties (the next time determined). The selected wines come from their own production. It was a pleasant stay in a well maintained environment. The restaurant also has a spacious outdoor terrace. The friendly and fast service completes the offer to the top.
