Mcdonald's - Nisku

Possibly consistently the worst McDonald's I've ever been to. Service is slow, till staff is poorly trained, things get missed on your order, always seem to be short staffed, managers are scrambling to put out fires. There is a problem at this McDonald's rooted down to the core, is it training, management or ownership? I think it probably starts at the top.

We come here often when we are in the area to grab a quick breakfast. This last visit, we ordered two breakfast meals. However, they only gave us one breakfast sandwich instead of two. Unfortunately, by the time we realized the omission, it was too late as we were too far to turn back. It is one thing to not include ketchup or napkins, but totally different level when they missed a big part of your order. I am not impressed.

Update for March 11, 2011: Today I arrived at 10:40am expecting to be able to buy from the lunch menu. I was informed that breakfast lasts until 11:00am. Since breakfast at McDonald's usually ends at 10:30 on weekdays, I asked why. Seems breakfast hours have changed to end at 11:00am. I asked to speak with a manager. The manager I spoke with was quite rude with me which is very unlike McDonald's. As a result, my rating has dropped to two stars from four and I am unlikely to visit again soon. Original Review: Consistent with what I've come to expect from McDonald's. Located in an industrial area. The parking lot at this location is large enough to accommodate tractor-trailer units.

I'm not normally a fan of McDonald's but this place gets it right in regards to service. The food is standard McDonald's but they have the drive thru timing down perfectly so it is a good place to stop when you only have a short lunch break. I wrote this review specifically to comment on the service because I definitely appreciate it.

Can McDonald’s please hire competent people? The service sucks.
