Finigans Gourmet Fish And Chips

Went here for Friday sunset picnic food.Local barra 11.50 per piece.Was yummy,the fish was crisp and the chips crunchy but two small things: for close to 30 for 2 pieces of fish and a small chips, I would have expected some free lemon slices and they only take cash which is not only annoying but in my eyes a bit dodgy.

Go here about 2 or 3 times a week to get chips, the small chips is more than enough for just me and they are really well priced and perfectly salted. There's 1 younger guy there and a lady who are both really friendly and nice, always asks how my day was and has a chat, but there's also an older guy who is just plain rude and racist and another guy with glasses who doesn't stop staring at me when I go in. Great place for a feed though. Would recommend

Crispy chips ... always cooked in quality, clean oil. Burgers prepared and made the old way. Not soggy, like fast food outlets

Terrible service. I wanted to order a barraburger with that one. they told him a fishburger and cannot be done. I asked what was going on on on the hamburger, speck and ei. I asked if they could add that to the barra burger, not cubes, his not a gourmet barra burger, they can not make themselves. why can't they just add as much as the other two burgers? at least his over price and they are rude and unfriendly

Political and friendly service is not what they receive here. no card payment available. they do not serve indigenous people and when they ask their behavior, they offer them a free teaspoon of verbal abuse. will never go back and let everyone know how terrible this place is. about expensive hit and miss eating. simply go over any other chippy in darwin and find or better good for the same or cheaper price.
