Barbouni - Nieuwpoort

The feeling of being on a vacation in southern Europe. Michaël, Darka and staff do a terrific job. The Freshly made dishes and apetizers are made from scratch and taste as they should. First time I got mussels and clamps combined with orzo, what a great combo. Also the fresly made calamar never gets tired. The decoration is modern and matching the light athmosphere. A worthwile visit for foodlovers who like seefood and southern cuisine.

Magnificent mediterranean food! And very friendly service!

We have been there on Sunday for lunch, the place was crowded and probably hard to maintain clean. The meal was good, but arrived late.

Very tasty Greek food and friendly staff. Although it was fully booked, they were kind enough to let us in (on condition we left an hour, for the people who had reserved at that hour . So I would recommend making a reservation if you want to eat here. Other than that, nice atmosphere, good for taking someone out on a date or for just a family dinner. Price range is slightly above average (between €20 to €30 for a main dish , but the taste and amount of food you get on your plate more than justify the extra €. (On a side note: we don't like fish food, and most restaurants in Nieuwpoort only serve fish, meaning there weren't many options for us, but we were glad we made the right choice to eat here!

Exquisite food with warm and attentive service. Could not fault it in any way. Way better than the Michelin starred Njord restaurant in Zeebrugge where we ate the night before.
