Railroad Station Grill (the) - NICHOLS

Came off the highway and wanted to eat somewhere and reviews looked good here so figured we’d try it. First off the open sign was in a door that doesn’t open so we went to the other door and it was dead so we just confirmed they were serving food and she rudely said well we’re cooking so that means we’re serving. Then i asked my husband if he wanted to seat at the table I was near and she again very rudely said well there’s only three tables to choose from. She was so rude off the bat so I got mad and we left. I’m not eating somewhere where before we even sit is that nasty and for what reason. Probably why the place was dead.

Great food and selection of beer at a good price. Always have some good specials, just stop in and check them out.

My husband and I came here while we were in town because our host recommended it and we were not disappointed! The owner served us and was so friendly and also helpful. The food was DELICIOUS. My husband got both garlic parm and mango habanero wings and not only did they smell amazing, but the flavor was incredible. They were super crispy and really hot the spot. I got the chicken tenders and was really happy with them! I always get nervous when I get chicken tenders because they're usually just breading, but these were not like that at all! They were juicy, crispy, piping hot, and most importantly packed with chicken. We had great conversations, great food, and left extremely happy. When we visit again we'll definitely be back!!

The food is excellent, and the beer selection is impressive. The owner is very friendly as well.

We chose to try this place instead of the casino restaurants for the Three Dog Night concert, and we’re so glad we did! The drinks were fantastic, and the food was delightful. The half-pound burger was cooked to perfection, the salads were generous, and the shrimp jammers were great—oh, and you simply have to try the pepperoni chips! They’re a must. The decor could use a little updating, but don’t let that deter you. It’s clean, and the owners are incredibly friendly. Make sure to stop by for a meal! Price per person: $10–20.
