Food was really good, a little more expensive than other restaurants in Vietnam but still nowhere near Western prices. It is located just inside the entrance to the Long Son pagoda, on the left. Place seems very clean with a nice outdoor seating area. Both Westerners and locals, including monks from the pagoda were eating here. No English spoken. Not all vegan despite the vegan rating.
The setting itself was fine, although unclean and uninviting. A couple of our dishes arrived hot like the spring rolls . However, most of the meal especially the mock meat dishes seemed old and was served completely cold. Everything was just about completely inedible and a miserable experience, especially with all the mosquitoes, the unfriendly staff and the rodent near the counter.
A beautiful setting for this restaurant at the entrance to Long Son Pagoda. My husband and I couldn't resist trying the veggie Pho soup as this traditional Vietnamese noodle dish is normally made with beef stock. It was delicious served with a tasty fresh green salad. Great value we spent 32,000 vnd on both soups....and two cups of tea!
Food average and on the oily side, especially the pancakes.
