It was another great night at Relic. There were three of us and we had French Onion Soup, Caesar Salad, Tuna Tartare, Lobster Gnocchi and the Pork Chop, my personal favorite. Service and food was outstanding as always. Best restaurant in Bucks County.
Amanda, our server, was very pleasant and was quick to our table after being seated to offer us water and anything from the bar. No wine list, but Amanda told us what was available by the glass from her personal list. Nice bread basket. Two oyster selections (not on printed menu) were nice to sample. Both of our entree selections were unavailable on a Friday night (hanger steak and pork chop). We both then opted for a filet with a side dish. Filets were nicely charred and mushroom side was filling. The 1960's Sinatra music was a bit loud and distracting. Relic is nice and has potential, but is higher priced than Rocco's a block away for similar menu items. Why no wine list at a steak place? One pet peeve: why would you go to a nice steak restaurant with girlfriend and friends and sit there with a baseball hat on? Come on, they took the bleachers out 5 years ago! Act classy
Our steaks were spectacular, my daughter had the Salmon special which was enormous she thoroughly enjoyed the flavor. The cozy ambiance was perfect for a night with family.
The food and service are great, but there is no wine list and few wines to choose from. When asked about bringing my own wine, they said they would charge an obscene $45 corkage fee. If they don't get this fixed. I won't be back very often.
