My mom hired Piccolo catering to cater my bridal shower, the shower was beautiful but anything that Piccolo catering had to offer was more than disappointing. As the bride, I arrived after the guests and I did not know that the catering company provided staff until the end of the day when my aunt had to find the 2 girls sitting in the back room on their phones to ask if they were going to help with clean up. The catering company promised my mom she wouldn’t have to worry about a thing but my mom was supplying ice and serving wine to the guests the entire shower that I was present. My fiancé and I live in newtown and have eaten at Piccolo many times. We have always enjoyed the food but I was shocked to find out the food at the shower was from this restaurant. The sandwiches were suppose to be “paninis” but they were all cold. The meat was very sparse on all the sandwiches, I had one that didn’t have meat on half of the roll. This was not what my mom was promised in her contract, the product and service they provided was very disappointing.

Just had my sister’s baby shower ant Piccolo Trattoria in Newtown and it was amazing! The food, the service, and the atmosphere were all wonderful!!! Highly recommend having events here! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
