Isaac Newton's Bar Restaurant Restaurant

Two of us were seated in the bar area around 4pm on a Friday afternoon. There weren't many people sitting at tables and the bar was around half full. The bartender/servers in the area kept forgetting to come to our table. We kept having to wave them down. It was nice they apologized multiple times, but it was still such a long wait for everything. The food was decent, but nothing to rave about.

My wife and I have dined here multiple times and every time the food was good and the service was good. 3 times now the hostest, who is an older gentleman who seems like the owner, has put his finger in my wife 's face to hold on because he is always talking to regualar . I don 't know what year he thinks it is but he obviously can 't let go of working the floor. Sometimes retirement is in the best interests of the establishment. Won 't be back here again.

Great restaurant and bar. Great mix if beers on tap and full bar. The food was amazing and great quality. It gets busy. There is an outdoor patio if the weather is fine. Tim is quick w a greeting and drink, think he's been there a long time. Great value for your dollar. Specials are available. Must visit.

We sat outside on a beautiful day. Food was good, not spectacular. Fries were well seasoned. Good assortment of drinks and on tap beer. Will return!

I've been golng to Isaac Newtons for years Haven't been there in a while. went on 5/23/24 with my daughter and grandchildren to celebrate my birthday. I ordered the salmon it was very good. I asked to substiute my potatoes with cauliflower rice. We were told there was an upcharge which my daughter responded mom get it. As a surprise my daughter ordered me a piece of birthday cake which was a decent size piece of cake. The real surprise was when the bill arrived. We were charged an xtra $6.00 for the rice!! I didn't even get the potatoes for $6.00 that was not a subsiltute they charged me for a whole side. The piece of birthday cake was $13.50 !!! That was the icing on the cake literally!! I complained to the server you could see she felt bad about the price and so she called the manger who explained we where getting a deal it should be priced at $15.00!!!! I would understand that if we went to Ruth Christies.!!The bill was over $100 for 2 adults 2 children.no beverages and I had a cocktail.. I've been in restaurant business for many years, there was no justification for the prices they are charging. since covid they don't even provide you with their delicious bread and dip which was complimentary! I will miss Isacc newtons but I can't justifly paying those prices. sorry!
