We had dinner for four, with three vegetarians and two meat-eaters. The service was a bit slow, even though there were not many other customers in the restaurant. Most of the dishes were great, except for the chickpeas which were bland. The okra, lamb, and chicken dishes were excellent. The staff were very attentive to my son's nut allergy. The Zisra rice was a nice change and all the naans were delicious. Our bill came to $102, with enough leftovers for two breakfasts in a doggie bag. It was clear that they were popular for takeout orders, and this was our second visit. We would be happy to go back again.
This restaurant serves the best Dal Makhani I've ever had. We recently ordered takeout from here and I can't stop raving about the dal. It was incredibly thick and rich, perfect for dipping our aloo naan into. This food is perfect for a cold winter night, providing comfort and satisfaction. In addition to the delicious dal, we also enjoyed the fish curry, onion bhaji, and seekh kabab, all of which were equally enjoyable.
Excellent food preparation. We had madras lamb and it turned out the perfect dish we ever had in Australia. I highly recommend this restaurant for either take away or dine in. I had take away.
Good value and a comprehensive menu of traditional Indian food. Fully licensed and BYO. The lunch menu is the best cheapest feed you'll get in Adelaide with a choice of half a dozen dishes plus naan and rice for $8.90!<br/
