Farmstead Table - Newton

Everything is always unique and delicious! I love that the menu changes with the seasons. As a vegetarian, it's nice to find a place that I love and that offers my carnivore friends just as many amazing options.

For anyone who is in newton center check out this place then come on over heat to have a meal it is right on the other side of the street from the T stop in newton center

We just had an amazing meal this evening. Probably the best butternut squash soup I've ever eaten. Braised pork with pureed parsnips and chard. Fabulous!

We visited Farmstead Table on a Sunday evening, and, overall, it was a nice experience. The food was delicious, and it was a nice, modern space. However, service was quite slow, and went for long stretches without checking in, despite having empty glasses and clean plates. The menu is a bit limited, and they were out of one of the main dinner dishes. The popovers were delicious, as was the burrata and the steak. The dessert for the day was crème brûlée, which was also very good.
