B Street Restaurant Bar - Newton

Good food and beer selection with outdoor seating in good weather. Food is typical bar type food with a few twists. We went on a quiet night but there is lots of space so it can accommodate large groups too.

The waitstaff seemed really nice and the drinks were delicious. Some reviews mentioned not liking the nuggets, but we thought they were the best part of our meal. Personally, I felt my salmon was over cooked (and that overall our main courses could bebetter). I was hoping the outdoor dining would be a good option with COVID, but the tables were really close to each other.

What a wonderful discovery! The food was outstanding, and the service was excellent as well. Definitely worth a visit!

The whole menu felt uninspired, like a mishmash of unrelated ideas hastily thrown together. Just because you can list something doesn’t mean you should. Moreover, nearly everything on the menu, aside from one or two items, was priced over $15, and frankly, nothing except the entrees was worth that. It felt like everything was double the price while offering only a quarter of the quality. Overall, this experience really left a bad taste in my mouth—both literally and figuratively.

I’ve been there numerous times. The location in Newton Center has plenty of parking available. Today, the service was excellent. I wish I could recall the name of our server (I know it starts with a K) because she really made our night special. The food was average, but the space is spacious, and there are plenty of TVs showing the game, which adds to the fun atmosphere.
