Saigon City Vietnamese Seafood

Been here many times. Excellent food all round. A family favourite of ours. Friendly staff.  Footpath seating available away from main group for those with pets on leash.

Great little Vietnamese restaurant! Affordable, quick, fresh, and a variety of options. The service is approachable and really friendly. <br/ <br/ The cube beef was very good. Not as saucy as I have previously had it in previous Vietnamese restaurants. <br/ <br/ The salt and pepper tofu was excellent, and I will order this dish again. It came with a large rice paper chip, which was a nice addition. The tofu was silken, the batter wasn't too heavy, and the seasoning was perfect. <br/ <br/ The beef pho and rice paper rolls were also given a thumbs up by my dining companipns.

The food is fresh and the flavours are pure.  Such a relief to find somewhere so yummy.  We ordered takeaway rice paper rolls and barramundi fish.  The rolls were super fresh and the sauce delish.  The barramundi, also fresh, with a great selection of vegies that were done not too crispy, not too soggy, just perfect :

We ordered take-away, (prawn crackers, chicken skewers, spring rolls, beef pho soup, sizzling duck, and special fried rice) and were very impressed with our selection. Good clean, fresh flavours, ample portions and very tasty. We were told 20 minutes and our order was just being placed on the counter when we arrived. I would highly recommend Saigon City, and if my parents come and visit, we will go there first for a meal. They've been to Vietnam and no doubt they will enjoy this dining experience as much as we did.

Lovely food... We just did not like the entree coz it was deep friend. It was a pancake and it was leaking of oil... So would not order that again... But the other dishes are amazing and the staff are really sweet!!! Will def go back to order main course and have sizzlers those were really good!
