I remember ordering from here a while back and wasn't too impressed with their cheesteaks. I didn't feel like making the drive to my normal spot for cheesteaks, so I figured I'd try Rick's again. Ordered mozzarella sticks and a buffalo cheesteak with onion, banana peppers, mushrooms, and green peppers. Came home with no dipping sauce for the mozzarella sticks and a cheesteak with only banana peppers ? Cheesteak was overcooked and over seasoned. I'm my food baseball, 2 strikes, you're out. Next time, I'm making the drive for real Philly cheesteak!

Food tastes GREAT, but the amount you get has declined a little bit. Still a very good spot if you want a cheesesteak or chili cheese fries.

It’s a dive. But the staff and the food are awesome. It’s unpretentious and you’re going in there to get a good Philly cheesesteak and that’s what you’re gonna get. Get your dang Philly cheesesteak already. It’s waiting for you.?

Honestly, I've never had a bad experience with Rick's. I've only ever ordered the chicken Philly and the steak Philly (why order a burger when you're going to a Philly shop? . But the subs are overstuffed with meat, and it's tender, juicy, and tastes great. Sure, the atmosphere could be better, but I'm here for the food, not the dine-in experience.
