Jason's Deli - Newport News

Neighborhood Deli. Thanks for coming to Newport News JD! The menu 's the same as all the others. But there 's a side of 'eager to please ' that 's served with every order since this location just openned. I always get the Rueben with pastrami which a has more than ample helping of warm well seasoned pastrami and tart kraut.

This place is fantastic. a couple of months ago, it went there and handled best since I was here. huge sandwiches and very courteous staff

No problem with Jason's deli every time I've been. Dont know about take-out I only dine in. My kids like it although they are a bit picky. Something on the menu for everyone and the staff are friendly.. 4 stars, its a bit overpriced for this already expensive economy.

I came in for a Plain Jane baked potato but there would be a 25 minute wait. I ordered two potatoes and returned 30 minutes later. Due to circumstances beyond Tori's control the baked potatoes were not ready. The oven broke! Tori was determined to make it right for me. I had a sandwich and chili instead. Tori told me about the rewards program and offered me a cookie for waiting so patiently. I will be back for the baked potato later. Thank you Tori for the excellent customer service.

Ate lunch here and had the salad bar. This is a good place just needs some tweaks. I had to tell the employees that there was no lettuce or cucumbers on the bar. None of the salad dressings weren't labeled so I had to guess what was what. The counters by the drink/ice cream area need a deep clean. The ice cream machine was broken and no sign indicating it was. Me and two small children were big time disappointed. 6-1-22 Update: Ate lunch here again and had the salad bar. Everything was great!!.The Ice cream machine was working and the salad bar was well stocked with all fresh stuff. All looked Clean!. Great Job!
