Chipotle Mexican Grill - Newport News

This might be a long post. Not sure yet! First of all, I haven’t been to Chipotle since last year because the last time I had it, I got sick immediately after eating it (Eden Way location). Today, after PT I was feeling Chipotle. Maybe it’s the rain lol. By far this is the BEST Chipotle in the area!!! Good service from the moment I entered the door. Smiling faces, efficient service during lunch rush. My hats go off to the crew working right now (as of 1pm EST). You all deserve a raise. #RealReviews

Most inconsistent portion sizes I’ve seen at a chipotle. The guy in front of me order a bowl, and the worker loaded it up. Multiple scoops of everything, the guy ordered double meat and ended up with 4 total scoops. I’m thinking to myself, cool I’ll get a big burrito now, except that wasn’t the case. Ended up with one small scoop of everything and when the worker tried rolling the burrito a bunch of fillings fell out. Rather rewrap it he just squished it into the side of the burrito and rolled it up in foil. You might end up with 3 meals worth of food or barely enough to fill you up.

The staff was really funny. One of them made a few really funny jokes and they did not skimp on portions.

This chipotle is better than most. The service was quick and efficient. The restaurant could be cleaner. Overall, we drive further to this Chipotle because the service is better than the one closer to home.

Everyday I come here at 1045. Everyday at 1045 they're either not open yet or they'll open and tell you to wait while they get food out on the line. They're never ready to serve the customers on time. They're sloppy and the tables are usually dirty. The staff always seems occupied with doing anything other than preparing whoever next order. The wait is usually longer than it should be because the person making the order is also the cashier. Parking: It's a tight parking lot. There's 2 other business in this lot and it usually seems overcrowded and difficult to navigate.
