I love fried okra so that I went for the first time I got order of okra and hush puppies (which is not so hungry, but I had a taste for okra). I loved the okra so much.

This place is so understaffed, minutes in the journey threw with the soak. eating is not so good

Crab cakes were unexpectedly excellent. Fried oyster were badly overcooked but overall the food was great. Seating area and restroom was superbly clean. Staff was energetic friendly and along with a pleasant and cheerful demeanor were eager to assist. Manager deserves a raise as does the staff. Food was super fresh and delicious.

It had been a long time since we had visited a Captain D's, so we decided to stop on our way home. We ordered two large family meals and anticipated a long wait in the drive-thru, as well as potentially grumpy staff due to the size of our order. To our surprise, the staff was very friendly, smiling, and happy to assist. The woman who took our order was particularly kind. We didn't end up waiting as long as we thought we would, and the fish and hush puppies were delicious! The only downside was the coleslaw, which tasted more like mayo and cabbage. Despite this, we had a great experience and would gladly return in the future.
