Ten Sushi Cocktail - Newport Beach

Food is great but even though our table was ready and many other empty tables were too, they made us wait. They gave us a 90 minute time limit to eat so you better hope your server is on the ball and that you are not out for a leisurely dinner. I also let them know when I made the reservation that we were celebrating a birthday but apparently they didn’t get the memo.

Booth seating/high top seating?? I even put daye for the occasion and they put me on the table by the street next to the host. It was the worst. This is not the seat I reserved for. Their food was whatever as well

Another perfect evening at Ten Sushi! Service and food could not have been better. Love the ambiance on the patio, particularly as the sun is setting.

This was a first visit to the Irvine location. The location setting and interior ambiance, coupled with convenient and reasonable valet parking was a great start. The food at the old location was exceptional and we expected the same here. Unfortunately, it has changed for the worse. The hamachi appetizer was bland. We had one cut roll that was too saucy and lacked flavor. The basic uni sushi was good, however. I rarely post negative reviews but this experience warranted it I’m afraid. Please, Ten Sushi, get back to your old and excellent food preparation!
