Louie's By The Bay - Newport Beach

Our server Jasmine was great. Very friendly and prompt. The restaurant was very busy and we still receiv excellent service.

We had guests from Utah and they always want to go to Louie's ... did not disappoint. We had a table by the window great ambience, wonderful service and our favorite lasagna...the best with a Caesar salad.

Three of us had dinner and found the staff to be friendly and helpful, and the food delicious.

Sunday at 11 am for wife’s bday so quiet and there were just 2 other pairs there. Hostess should’ve sat us at a regular table with a better view instead of the small one blocked behind a half wall. Calamari was the best I’ve had in a while. Sautéed spinach was extremely salty so they remade it bland with no salt. Disappointed there was no small bday dessert. $9 valet paying when there are no other cars in the lot is robbery. I can understand for peak times but not when they just drive your car a few feet away.

I made very early reservations for our wedding anniversary. Arrived little early. We sat on the bar great service and atmosphere. On line it says happy hour the charge was regular
