Bidrage med feedbackSo I was not aware of this hotel until I saw the menu in newport beach restaurant week so it was worth a try. we went to lunch since I liked the menu better. 3 courses for $25, it's worth it! I don't think to eat or eat in a hotel, but this was worth trying. we came on a Saturday afternoon at 1 and I think we were the only ones in the restaurant. I made a little nervous, but it was great. the service was great and we were not rushed, lol. for appetizers we have 1 of each, the Hawaiian poke was fresh and great presentation. it also tasted great. I liked the sauce and wished there was a little more. I also have sirachi to add a little kick. it had big eyes thunfish, roasted nori, maui wobbles, scalions, avocado, edamame, soulaltar all on a crispy rice. no! caramelized brussel sprouts were also fresh and cooked a la dante. the kumquat has added a unique taste. we both got the spiny lobster grilled cheese we couldn't expect, but it had a decent amount of lobster in there! very well done! the sandwich itself could be found at slapfish, lol. absolutely delicious! for dessert we have 1 of them each. I really enjoyed my Kumquat cheesecake. it wasn't too sweet. it was light and the fruits added a beautiful combination. the balsamic reduction was very nice. my friend's nutella **** was huge! it was a meal in itself. also very good and generous. soo is happy today about our choice! if you have any chance, try it!
I tried the spicy tuna roll with crispy rice for lunch and it was excellent! The crispy rice added a nice crunch and the sauces were amazing. For dinner, I had the tomahawk short rib which came with a side of large vegetables. These were the best short ribs I have ever had, and I order them frequently.
In the interior of the renaissance, this comfortable restaurant has many seating and a friendly staff. I ordered the short rib birria tacos and the street corn that I have in each of the three tacos and bam a small stowed from inside! they were amazingly served with the consommė dip on the side. so good! the tacos came with chips and a beautiful medium salsa. I really enjoyed this southwestern eating!
This place is located in the Renaissance hotel, is clean and has many seating options. my man and I ordered drinks and the Burrata salad with laughs. the dinner was delicious! not too heavy. As far as the drinks are concerned, we started with the gurke collins, which was perfect for me when I drink a picky with. husband there is 7/10, I say 8.5/10 next was currently old-fashioned, which was super strong. he's got a 6/10 because I'm a **** when it comes to alcohol. drink that if you want to feel like a man. after berry bliss very girly drink and sparkling. pretty champagne? he's got an 8/10 and says it's what it is. Finally, the espresso martini, who says a 9/10 and is very smooth with good aromen. (Granted he is quite drunk by helping me write this review) we also got short rib darts, and they were great, but I wish there were more meat on them. overall a good experience.
They closed early, although the hotel had many patrons and several people at the bar to order food. also bad check the hotel
