Ultralife Cafe Nye Beach - Newport

The vegan breakfast bagel was outstanding. Only wish I had discovered it before my last day in Newport.

We had actually planned to have breakfast elsewhere but due to staffing the other places were closed; which worked out fine since we discovered Ultralife. We ordered the breakfast bowl but since they didn't have biscuits that normally go with the gravy they substituted toasted sourdough bread. The plate was large enough for my husband and I to share, and we followed it with a large piece of coffee cake. Ultralife has a nice selection of breakfast pastries, not to mention a complete coffee bar.

Great Cafe and market. The store has a little bit of everything

The coffee is good, but I can only give 3 stars because they advertise for gluten free food, but they make everything in the same kitchen and don't clean or consider cross contamination. Really unfortunate they don't take the actual care required for people with food allergies.

The drip coffee was not very hot. The music was loud and that did not facilitate a very relaxing environment for me. My friend ordered a latte and enjoyed it.
