The Pier Of Newport

Excellent locstion and can host a 50 person event. The event was well catered and staff easy to work with.

Well I was greeted by a very rude wait or, who paid more attention to her iPhone than taking my order. At the bar I saw a roach come out the kitchen side door when my waitor came back with my order of calamari. When I pointed it out to the bartender, he shrugged his shoulders and ignored my complaint. None the less the food was delicious, but the service was **** poor. Also the sighting of a roach on the wall near the kitchen side door was it for me. Although the the food was great, I don't trust for the food to be sanitary if I ever ate here again. Management really should fix that

Great location, but the food is lousy (cafeteria food at best) they we're understaffed, and seemed clueliss about service. Now we know why there were so many empty tables. Good 2 piece band though.

Except burnt nachos. The drinks food was great. Our server Mark was fabulous!!

If you like overly salty food , you 'll love the Pier. Enough said.
