It's wonderful to see a family-run business that hasn’t been affected by the delivery apps out there. Uncle Roger would definitely approve of the rice and the vibrant orange color scheme. Fuiyoh!

Once you've tasted the curry sauce from the Slow Boat, you won’t want any other Chinese curry sauce—it’s simply the best and truly unique. We've been enjoying it for nearly 30 years! It's definitely spicy, sometimes even hotter than usual. They’re closed on Mondays, except for bank holidays. Give it a try and see if you like it! The rest of their menu is fantastic as well. We absolutely love it!

A true classic in Newport! This traditional British Chinese takeaway offers an extensive menu and serves the best curry sauce I've had—it's been unchanged for as long as I can remember.
