Minami Sushi Newmarket

This place is absolute my go to for takeout (through ubereats). I feel really strongly about their food because it is just that good. I always get the ‘Hako Spicy Salmon Sushi” and it NEVER disappoints. They are so consistent and I am so satisfied every time. The ratio of rice to salmon, sauce, and presentation is perfect. If you’re a fan of torched sushi, I recommend this place.

I only get the sashimi so I can only speak for a portion of the menu, but the fish is generally on the fresher side (better if earlier in the day) with a good breadth of selection. I would say for sushi in Newmarket this restaurant is in the top percentile. Prices are reasonable given the current economy.

Food was great but the service needs some improvements.

Great sushi, we were just passing through Newmarket and stopped for sushi randomly. So glad we discovered this place, what a gem!

We have ordered from Minami several times. Their food never disappoints. Just recently I was diagnosed with celiac disease and on our order referenced a gluten allergy. When our order arrived, not only was it labelled in bold font, but they went as far as putting two separate gluten-free containers of soy sauce along with the order. Very much appreciated !!!
