Simply Greek - Newcastle upon Tyne

Food, unfortunately, wasn't as good. My wife ordered kleftiko (slow cooked lamb shank) and found it very dry, it felt like it was cooked well before (maybe even not on the same day). My gyros tasted OK, but next morning my stomach was playing up a bit.

It was early when we arrived (6.30pm) and tlit was far from full, but their was live music and the service and food was great

Such an amazing place with lovely staff! We have found this tavern accidentally, thanks to live Greek music played inside. Highly recommended!

That's how Greek food tastes. Lovely people and atmosphere.

Was recently in newcastle for a wedding and spent the night before out in town. we tried a few restaurants that were all booked up and ended up in simply greek. service was pretty quick and the food was delicious. i went for the mixed grill which was pretty stacked, along with feta loaded fries. one of the few meals i've not been able to finish in my time, but still banging
