The Victoria Pub - NEWCASTLE-UNDER-LYME

I went to this restaurant tonight and enjoyed drinks and food with friends. There was a small issue with our order, but Enkle, the staff member who was assisting us, resolved the problem efficiently and professionally. The entire staff was polite and excellent, and the food was delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be returning.

Went for the Festive Lunch, had booked a table for 4. Went to order and was told it was not on as they had not had a delivery. Asked for Mulled Wine advertised with a sign on the bar to be told hadn't time to do it. (Then move the sign). Not impressed and and went else where and had a lovely Festive Meal for less cost.

My wife and I and our eldest booked for Sunday lunch. We were not disappointed. My wife and I started with a beer battered mushrooms and our son had nachos. The batter was to die for. Then my wife and I had the beef rib and the boy had the duo. It came with plenty of veg and a very good Yorkshire pudding. It also came with a beef gravy for us and a chicken gravy for our son. Really enjoyed the whole experience. We'll be back.

We went to this restaurant for a gathering after my father's funeral. The staff was very attentive and the food was incredible. They made us feel very welcome.

We experienced a significant delay in receiving our meals at this restaurant, and when they finally arrived, one of them was completely cold. It was clear that this particular dish had been sitting out for a long time. Rather than wait even longer for a replacement, we ate the cold meal. The dessert we ordered was also incorrect, although at least it was served hot. Overall, the food was good value for money, but our disappointment with the experience overshadowed any positives.
