Mike's Place - Newcastle

Mike was very kind to let us stay in his store for a half hour while we waited for our ride after our car broke down. ?

Stopped in to get breakfast sandwiches, guy at register said hello girl in kitchen area never acknowledged us standing there waiting to be served asked if breakfast still being served she said yup nothing else. Left awhile afterwards. She should have said be with you shortly

Nice place to grab a quick bite on the go, I get lunch here 3-4 times a week and have never been disappointed. The staff is worth a mention as well, everyone definitely has good attitude and sense of humor at Mike's Place.

Then, chaos erupted. The staff behind the counter began yelling as a large man barged in, confronted the guy who had complained, and without hesitation, he grabbed him, dragged him outside, and bodyslammed him onto the ground. I couldn't believe my eyes—I had just witnessed a full-on brawl because someone asked about a dog in a food prep area. I put my things down and left immediately. I hope the guy is alright. I certainly won't be coming back here again.

I had a fantastic experience with the service here, and I loved that they offered local donuts. The cozy atmosphere of a small business really adds to the charm, and the staff are always so friendly. You all are amazing—thank you for your help and exceptional service today!
