Very slow service on takeaway counter. Someone the staff knew came in after us with a bigger order, ordered there on the spot (not in advance) and got theirs way before we did. Saying that, they do gluten free batter which is a massive plus and it's really very good. If the customer service was better, I would have given 5 stars

From the moment we walked in, we were greated with a warm welcome from our waitress. Time was given to look through the menu, a speedy and efficient service followed and our food arrived within an acceptable time from when our order was taken. Food excellent service fantastic and as we were leaving the owner Morgan came to the door to make sure everything was OK. NICE TOUCH

--- This restaurant is a great choice when staying in Newcastle. The flat access and high chairs make it very family-friendly, and there are restrooms available. I noticed many families dining here, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The staff was very friendly and attentive, even though our waitress seemed quite busy; we never felt neglected and received excellent service. I really enjoyed my meal, although I felt it had quite a few pepper grains. My partner, who had a different dish, felt the same way, as did a group of women at another table who mentioned they couldn't handle the seasoning. Nonetheless, I still enjoyed my meal and didn't leave without finishing it, despite the generous portion size. I would definitely return! --- Let me know if you need further assistance!

I had an excellent burger experience! I ordered the Bark burger and the Vogelburger, along with the southern roasted chicken. Both the chicken and the homemade beef smash burger were served hot. The fresh brioche bun and melted cheese on the Bark burger were delightful, and the vegetables were incredibly fresh as well. This was the best burger I’ve had in a long time. The Bark meat was wonderfully flavorful, and the southern fried chicken pulled apart effortlessly with a delicious coating. I'll be thinking about this meal for quite a while!

Absolutely outstanding fish dishes and garlic, accompanied by friendly service and excellent prices! I would definitely rate it a 10/10 and I would love to eat here again. Thank you for an amazing meal!
