Bidrage med feedbackI have had only good experiences here. The breakfast sandwiches are good. The caramel latte are great. The chocolate glazed donuts FANTASTIC.
Very good service, we called when we were on our way and they set aside a couple doughnuts for us. we got the maple bacon doughnuts, the doughnut it self was amazing, very soft and a little flaky. However the maple frosting didn’t have much flavor, the bacon covered it up completely. Still very good though
I have visited the Angry Donut on two occasions. Both times I got two donuts and one other item. I had to see what all the local reviews were about. I'll start with the donuts. Although they are very creative flavors that appeal to kids and adults I did not care for the donuts at all. They were mushy and VERY yeasty. You could taste the yeast it was not a light flaky donut. Personally I don't care for them. I got a fruity pebbles one, maple bacon on the first visit and PB and J and chocolate PB the second visit. I'm just not a fan of a $5 mediocre donut. On both trips we also got coffee and another Pastry. which was a cinnamon roll and scone. Both were good. Cinnamon roll was fresh-although we could have used some butter and it was not hot. it was tasty. Scone was also very good (not amazing, but good). Coffee was good both times. They are located in a spot that was a long time business in the area for lunch and I'm glad to see a new use of the space but sad to say I was not a fan. Centrally located right in front of a small play area for kids in downtown NBPT.
Love this place! had a great lunch today. one of us has the thunfish salad and the other got the goat salat. both were great. many other great eating came from the kitchen and bakery. beware of tom and pam for a fabulous food.
The Angry Donut is a fun little cafe that offers your typical cafe drinks, salads, sandwiches, and yes… donuts. Normally I would be all about the donuts, but it was lunch time, I needed something healthier, and I opted for the BLAT sandwich. Stands for bacon, lettuce, avocado, and tomato. It was an amazingly fine crafted sandwich that tasted amazing. While waiting for our food, I looked around the cafe. You enter to a counter where you order your food, the cafe selections are off to the left above the counter, breakfast sandwich offerings where on the counter to the left, and the lunch options were on a chalkboard to the right of the counter. (Probably my only beef with the place is that the menus were split up. There was a small, but nice dining area to the right of the cafe, and there was outdoor seating. We took advantage of the outdoor seating and enjoyed a nice day in the courtyard that the shop is located. The staff was cool and handled our large-ish order with care and accuracy. Next time I come back, I will try the donuts.
