Toby Carvery Newbury

For a resteraunt based so heavily on mean it is impressive that they do vegan options. They have several options and will also leovide sides like steamed veg. Some of the staff are very good and other seem to need more training.

We always love the Toby and come at least twice a month. The food is tasty and the portions are generous.

I use Toby quite a lot. Recently I've noticed that we have no sooner finished our meal that the staff are bringing the bill. It has all the feel of a production line. I could understand if the Toby was busy. When I booked on line we were given 2 hours and only used half this time. Stop rushing to move people, take a breath.

The experience was excellent as was the food though it could have been just a little bit hotter
