The Green Chicpea - Newark

My only nitpick is their not being open on Fridays. They are the only kosher restaurant in Newark I know of. That aside, Ive been consistently happy with their food.

Enjoy a selection of freshly prepared Levantine dishes drizzled with your choice of creamy tahini or a selection of flavorful sauces.

Love the food but they didnt provide extra schug nor a way to buy it as an add on. large group order was missing 1 platter, but was able to get credit and reorder quickly.

The Bowl was delicious, would have preferred more options, But the fries were gag-salty. Sea Salt is still salty, way too much...

Very vegan friendly, almost all salads are vegan with taking the red cabbage. the personal is very well informed about the ingredients. they also have vegan suppening, and was said unless it has chicken broth it is vegan. this should be 5 stars, but the app stops on 4.
