I just got off the phone with the takeout and honestly I cannot even believe the service, or lack of it, clearly!!!! I placed a pick up order, ON THEIR APP, I specifically put the time at 5:30pm (after I get out of work), I placed the order at 12:04pm…I am pregnant and saw they had feijoada which I have been craving for a while. I placed the order early morning to make sure I could have that. All day I am thinking how I am going to enjoy that dish and when I am on my way to pick it up, I get a phone call that they’re sold out and no longer have it!!! Wait what?????? She told me I placed the order to pick up at the end of the day so clearly they sold out. Let me tel you I used to work at Valenca restaurant, so I know exactly how it works: you place an order and it goes to the kitchen to they can save it. Don’t give me that miserable excuse if you didn’t do your job correctly!!! It’s inconceivable this kind of customer service and I will make sure to discredit this restaurant!!! It’s very upsetting. I never had that issue at valenca. So clearly goes to show who cares for their customers. If your own app doesn’t work properly then it’s an issue you guys have to fix, it’s not the customer fault.

Service was excellent. BYOB always a plus for us. My fusilli with shrimp, scallop and fish was good. I do make my own pasta at home and I could tell right off the bat that this pasta was not made fresh at the restaurant as indicated on the menu. That aside, the seafood was very good and fresh and my husband's pappardelle bolognese was ok for him. Nice breadbasket and appreciative that it was offered since so many restaurants have eliminated that amenity.
