Dan's Family Restaurant & Pizza

This is best place to get a fantastic BLT pizza! But my favorite thing they make is a Reuben Sandwich! It is the absolute bomb!!!

If you're gonna close up shop for good then the rest of newark deserves an explanation. This has been a staple to local downtown for far too long to just abandon everyone without explanation

Dan's family restaurant is a great place to get freshly cooked food that's reliable and safe.

My colleague recommended this restaurant to me a few weeks ago and I finally had a chance to visit. The menu offers a great variety of the usual staples--I went with the fish sandwich and was not disappointed! Service was friendly and familiar, it feltlike it wasn't my first trip there! The only thing I didn't enjoy was the use of cool lighting rather than warm lighting in thedining section. This is totally a *me* thing, but cool lighting feels somewhat post-apocalyptic and makes everything/everyonelook sickly. If you've ever seen the Twilight films, you know what I'm talking about! In contrast, my boyfriend was whollyunbothered by the lighting. : 4/5 stars until I return and try something else on the menu, I'm happy to support local!
