The Expat - New York City

Really delicious food. I did pick up the wrong food but luckily was not far. I explained on the phone and they quickly sorted out my order-appreciate that. they don't have the lava cake anymore but their brownie is very good!

The thai herbal chicken soup was okay. It was not like the the picture much. it was berybkand and unseasoned. The broth flavour could be developed better. Lacks umami.

Expat offers a fair number of vegan options. our dinner included ironing fry with jackfruit and pad thai, along with sides of bok choi and tofu bites. service was very friendly. we had seats in the open. it was nice and very airy, but the external configuration changes.

Eating here is good and fairly clear labeled for vegan options. we had the pad thai with tofu and no ice that was decent, but a little dry. we also had the flower flower wing and vegan omelette both good. luck hour is probably the only time I would go back, that is M-F of 12-6 and Sa-Su of 4-7 (double check these times when they go after hh). they seem to have good offers during the hh, but outside these hours I would say that the quality does not really fit what they pay. Note: we ordered **** marys and they tasted soouu fish fish when we were asked that the worcestershire sardellen. I know this is pretty normal and I should have taken into account when I ordered it, but I just forgot it. However, these drinks tasted so fischer ... it must be homemade W sauce or something. so please note that if they go for brunch drinks. the personal was super friendly. cool vibes.
