Bidrage med feedbackCame here on Christmas Day with my family, surprisingly they were open during their regular hours. Both their food and drinks were absolutely delicious. The entire time we were there, there was a line of people out the front door waiting to be served, so this place gets really busy. I asked our server whether it’s this busy every day and she said yes. We all loved our experience here and we will definitely be returning next time we’re in the area.
Great food, very locals place, good Latin and Chinese food.
Welcome back to 1994! So glad we all made it to enjoy your terrific classics again. Went Ku Po and General T’s shrimp and was warmly reminded of the old days flavor and service with a smile. And even a bit closer than before.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at this hidden gem on the West Side, and I must say it was an extraordinary culinary experience. The fusion of Latin and Chinese cuisine at this establishment is nothing short of amazing. My personal favorite was the ropa vieja with green sauce and tostones. The tender, flavorful ropa vieja paired perfectly with the zesty green sauce, creating a symphony of tastes that danced on my taste buds. The tostones were crispy and provided a delightful contrast to the savory ropa vieja. My husband opted for the crackling fried chicken with green sauce, and he was equally impressed. The chicken was expertly fried to perfection, boasting a crispy exterior and juicy interior.
We came here after seeing this restaurant on social and decided to try it out for dinner. Right off the bat, a key note it's not necessarily a latin-chinese fusion place. It offers just both cuisines. Service was great, we got seated right away at 7pm, and food came out quick. That being said from the Latin side we got the fried crackling chicken and pork chop, and the general two shrimp. Everything was great the chicken is an absolute must when dining in here. It's a very light fried chicken and you get a good amount for the price. All portions were decently sized for the price point. The only thing was the fried porkchops, where we got two with our order and one shown in the photos was wayy to done, really tough, almost burnt and really not that edible. So I'd stay away from those.
