Bidrage med feedbackAmazing vegan meatball parm! I haven't tried anything else but I'll be back! Very soon! Thank you god for this vegan Italian deli!
Hands down one of the best sandwiches I've ever had And it was vegan! Super friendly staff, amazing food, and great vibes all around. The chicken parm sandwich, spaghetti and meatballs, and the brownie were so good. Looking forward to the next time I'm here to try the rest of the menu! 10/10
Definitely recommend you stop by this gem! I got the figgetta bout it and the creamy tomato pasta. Both were amazing! If I had to choose between the two I would choose the pasta. It is so perfect and creamy, hands down one of the best pastas I've ever had. The figs and which was wonderful and I ate every last bit! Very unique bit I would be open to trying some of their other sandwiches. We also got their rainbow cookies which were delightful! And I also strongly recommend. Like most places, I wish there was just another table or two. We tried to sit outside but it was just too cold and the heaters weren't on yet, as it was still early Sunday morning. I definitely would make this place a must on your list when in NYC. We plan to be back! And hope to try a cup of coffee!
Adorable little Italian deli in the heart of Little Italy! Delicious coffee and nice staff, didn’t get a sandwich but they sound amazing, will be back!
After being closed for several months, Galioto's recently re opened with a new menu from Chef Mario Buccellati. The new menu features many of his housemade vegan meats and vegan cheeses, and also a large gluten free section. I tried two sandwiches and two items from the gluten free menu. Everything was amazing popping with flavor and perfect textures (even for the gluten free dishes! I tried the fig and beet sandwich (with housemade vegan ricotta and the portobello sandwich (with artichoke tapenade and housemate vegan feta . Both were delicious. From the GF menu, I also got the vegan gluten free calamari and the vegan gluten free zeppoles. The breading on the calamari was crispy and the zeppoles were soft and pillowy. These were two of the best gluten free things I've had anywhere. You'd never know they were gluten free. I highly recommend this special vegan spot in Little Italy.
