Absolute Bagels - New York City

Got an everything bagel with bacon and cheddar cream cheese and it was bomb. I went after work and the bagels were still great will definitely have to go by in the morning sometime and grab a fresh one though.

Great place to grab a bagel in NY. Make sure to have some cash as the place is cash only. Occasionally may be a queue to get to order- however it moves very efficiently. There in no place to sit in, that’s the only disadvantage of the place. The staff is really nice and friendly.

What’s good here? Everything! Cash only place (ATM on site). People are very helpful and nice. Be wary of spring summertime and lines will form outside as well as occupying the whole inside.

Inconsistent. When they’re good, they’re transcendent. But I’ve also gotten some horribly tough bagels here that ultimately needed toasting. Scallion cream cheese might as well have been plain, I counted 5 scallion pieces total. Last time, my everything bagel had sparse seasoning so it lacked that quintessential everything bagel flavor. Thai iced tea is fantastic. I would go on a weekday morning for best results of fresh bagels and short lines. From now on I think I’m only gonna buy the whole bagels and handle at home according to freshness.

THICK, slightly buttery, chewy dough, crispy crust bagels with delectable everything seasoning and just the right amount of salt!!! Tofu scallion cream cheese is light and savory, and the regular scallion cream cheese is indulgent and savory. Really kind people with authentic NYC bagels.
