Bidrage med feedbackFrom beginning to end, Scarpetta amazed us. From the hostess to walking out, it’s apparent this restaurant pays close attention to the finer details. The vibe here is more on the intimate end with dim lighting, dark furnishings and candles everywhere. Our server, Gent ? , was the perfect example of 5-star service. We never asked, but he always did. Everything pictured is delicious, but their short rib bone marrow agnolotti is a must-try. Their bread basket was one of the better ones we’ve had. Their wagyu strip was great, but the agnolotti still outshines it. Many places will ask if you’re dining for a special occasion, but very few do something special with the diners’ information. Scarpetta brought out our dessert with “Happy Anniversary” hand-written without either one of us asking for it; little things like that are memorable and will keep people coming back. Dine here and you will not be disappointed.
Vey nice restaurant overall, got 8 pineapple crush its 25 dollars per glass spent 200 plus just for the drinks. It’s expensive! But the food us delicious and reasonable price. We had fun!
Octopus from appetizer and lobster pasta from entree are must try. Pizza is no brainer for vegetarian options. Coming to desserts, espresso budino and tiramisu are must try.
Authentic NYC experience, chic and bustling place with good Italian food. I think price is a bit higher, but it's Fifth Ave I guess. The pasta was good but I think I had better Else where and the waygu steak was not as tender as it should given it's waygu. But I still a very nice establishment and I do recommend you to check it out.
My mother and I are there during a mother daughter trip to New York, and we were not disappointed. We started with a bottle of wine that was recommended to us, which was very good, full-bodied, smooth and dry, which was exactly what we had requested. My mother ordered the seared scallops as an appetizer, and then the spaghetti as a main, and both were spectacular. I had the polenta with mushroom fricassee and then the angolotti, which were also incredible. I had to restrain myself from licking the plates. We finished off the night with blueberry tart and one of the managers that had stopped to chat with us, surprised us with chocolate cake as well. The blueberry tart was delicious, and the lemon sorbet that came with it was nice and tart. Normally, I do not like chocolate, but their cake was amazing. Moist, and not too sweet. But was really surprising, was how tasty the toffee sauce around the cake was. After looking at the menu after we left I realized it was a banana toffee sauce. I may dislike chocolate, but I hate bananas more than any other food, but this was delicious. Overall, we had an incredible time, and the good was even better. Would definitely go back there again, the next time I'm in New York.
