Samba Kitchen & Bar - New York

I picked Samba Kitchen to celebrate my birthday, but it was a letdown. I specifically chose this restaurant for the live samba music during brunch, only to find out they only have live music on Sundays. The brunch menu was extremely limited and basic, lacking any wow factor. My friend and I were so disappointed that we considered finding another place to eat. Overall, our experience can be described in one word: disappointing.

The restaurant offers excellent food in a casual and welcoming atmosphere. We enjoyed our experience here and would definitely return, even though we live in NYC.

Not very impressed. The cheese bread tasted like it was boiled and I could really taste the Yucca flour. The Moqueca portion was small for the price. The drinks were mediocre and the service was just okay. It was very noisy. I wouldn't recommend coming back.

Great place. Service was very good, food was interesting and enjoyable, and ambiance was excellent.

Great food, friendly waitstaff. Loved our first Brazilian dinner!
