First time but won't be last. Brianna was an excellent waitress. Food was good and plentiful. A gem…to say the least.

AMAZING WEEKEND BRUNCH! Such a great meal at rustic root with cute earthy aesthetics. Super family friendly as well — lots of kids and families. We got the crispy chicken sandwich with regular fries, burger with truffle fries, lox flatbread, and harvest salad. Menu changes often enough to keep things fresh and new. Wait staff is always helpful and friendly.

Loved the ambience and the service. The food was good but not great. We got the chicken wings which was cooked perfectly and was so tender but unfortunately there wasn’t enough seasoning on the them. Not enough flavour. The grass fed beef burger was cooked really well medium rare as I ordered. Again there was no wow factor. As a whole great place to go the only reason why I’ve given 4 instead of 5 is because I think the food could be improved to the next level.

We read in Newsday that Rustic Root was a 'sister ' restaurant to Blackbird in Wantagh. Now we love Blackbird so we gave Root a try. Went last weds fairly late and was surprised by the number of diners still there close to closing (8:30). Tucked away in a corner in a strip mall the front is pretty nondescript.
