Pizzeria Bacio - New York

Outdoor dining area is pleasant. Staff is very nice. Food was delicious! The 'small ' entree is big and will provide at least another meal 's worth of leftovers.

Nice Italian place right next to Vassar college. Good atmosphere and attentive waitstaff made for a good visit.

Pizzeria Bacio is located near Vassar College (Raymond Avenue) in the city of Poughkeepsie, NY. The menu consists of much more than pizza although I have to say the pizza is so delicious that it's hard for me to order anything else. They specialize in both American and Italian cuisine. Everything is delectable and scrumptious. The best experience is eating outdoors under the tables with umbrellas. It gives you a feeling of outdoor cafe style eating along the stretch of sidewalk stores and other eateries. The only negative is finding a nearby parking space as this eatery doesn't have its own parking lot for customers. Street parking is the only option. Be careful to park in a legal parking spot. Read all signs to avoid getting a ticket.

Good pizza, staff is friendly only reason they got a 4 out of 5 they don't serve drinks. They only had beer. Their plates are huge so be prepared for leftovers

This place really is great. The food is delicious, the sauce is amazing, the service is excellent and the pricing is reasonable. Nice big pour for the wine! I just love the sauce. Certainly not a fancy place but I highly recommend it.
