Amazing food. Great neighborhood and overall terrific experience. I hadn’t been back in years and Piccolo stood the test of time. A great local neighborhood place. Best of all though is the service and the conversation. — with Maria and Fernando ! So great and highly recommended !!

Great service and a friendly staff! The eggplant parm was the star! It was so delicious! Sleeper pick, the mussels! So meaty and filling! Don’t forget to ask for garlic bread!

Cozy local italian place. The food tasted really fresh and homemade. I had the penne and vodka sauce while my roommate got the pasta primavera. The family that runs the restaurant is super sweet and was lovely to chat with. Highly recommend trying the house red wine even for those who aren’t usually wine people.

Absolutely spectacular Italian food, tastes like an expertly crafted home cooked meal. It was served by the family who started the restaurant and felt like home. I estimate 70% of the tables were taken by regulars from the neighborhood and there is a warmth to the service and food that made me sad for anyone in the neighborhood that has not experienced it. Furnishings are worn, it could use an update, but I would not want anything changed there for risk of losing what makes it so special. The asparagus was excellent, the pasta with sweet and spicy sausage was-out-of-this world spectacular. I highly recommend this spot to all and am grateful for having visited.
